LifeSpring Harrison—Launching October 2008

LifeSpring Christian Church is a multi-site church—one church with diverse worship locations to meet you where you are. Each location is community-based and benefits from being part of a larger church with an extensive local and international ministry.

October 2008 is Grand Opening Month for our third location, LifeSpring Harrison—a place for the whole family. There will be great children’s classes where kids have fun learning about God and a relevant worship service for teens and adults.

• It’s down-to-earth and casual—there’s no dress code.
• We’re about authenticity—not image—so come as you are.
• People are friendly and welcoming—come early to check in your kids and have a coffee.
• There’s a worship band, a message from the Bible, communion, and an opportunity to give an offering. It’s all centered around God.
• The messages are practical and clear.

LifeSpring is a place where those who are a little skeptical or jaded about God or church can bring doubts and questions. It’s a place to discover, explore, and experience God’s grace through a relationship with Jesus. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know a lot about the Bible—we’re growing together!

Girlfriends
Bakin’ Babes will meet Saturday, July 19, from 12:30–3:30 p.m., in Room 73, at Clovernook.  Bring your favorite recipe and ingredients for lasagna!  Please RSVP, to Amanda McMillan, contact the church office for more information.

Children’s Choir
The quarterly children’s choir (grades 1–5) will rehearse on Sundays July 20, 27, and August 3, from 12:00–2:00 p.m. in the Parlor at Clovernook.  The kids will perform in all Clovernook services on Sunday, August 10.  Please bring a sack lunch to the first 2 rehearsals.  The third rehearsal will be a pizza lunch!  For more information, contact Ginger Mitchell, contact the church office for more information.

Children’s Ministry
The next 2008 Summer FX for all LifeSpring families with children will take place on Friday, July 18, from 6:30–9:00 p.m. at the Gamble-Nippert YMCA.  We’ll have dinner, worship, teaching, and family fun.  Cost is $2.50 per person (over age 2), with a maximum of $10 per family.  Register at the table near your worship entrance on Sundays, or contact the church office.

Christian Adoptive Families
The next Christian Adoptive Families meeting will take place on Friday, July 11, from 6:30–9:00 p.m., in Room 101, at Clovernook.  Any family that has adopted, is in the process of adoption, or is interested in adoption is welcome.  Child care provided for those who RSVP.  Contact Melinda Hickman, 661‑6278, or Deb Amend, 741-0644.
