When you're over the hill, it just means you go faster! Getting older doesn't mean you have to slow down. Nobody knows that better than LifeSpring's seniors.

This is a fun group. If you're looking for some zip in your life, this group meets, eats, and travels together regularly. It could be Amish country, a cruise on the Belle of Louisville, or lunch at a dinner theater. But most of all, it's not what you're doing; it's who you're with.

It's also a caring group; a place where everybody matters. People miss you when you're not there. Our seniors rally around each other in times of crisis. And someone can usually be found to help out with repairs when one of our seniors has a busted sink. You know you're not alone with this seniors group.

It's a learning group. Sharp minds study the Bible together in several different Sunday morning classes, a Thursday Ladies Bible Study, and a Thursday afternoon small group. You may be a Bible study veteran or brand new to the scene, but there's something new for everyone to learn about God here.

And, it's a serving group. Senior adults have lots of life experience to share, and in a diverse church like this one, there are a lot of ways to pass along the lessons of years well-lived. Our seniors rock babies, teach children, organize special events, cook food, get involved in world missions, and mentor younger adults.

One other big plus in the LifeSpring Senior's ministry is an outstanding ministry to our shut-ins. Regular visits, cards, gifts, and calls keep even those who can't leave their homes connected to the church.
