Our teenagers are a group of diverse, ambitious leaders who are on a quest to know God better and to share His love with others.
Teenagers at LifeSpring
are constantly throwing themselves into the work of God. This year will
be filled with events like C.I.Y. (Christ in Youth Conference),
Ichthus, High School Mexico Mission Trip, and the Jr. High Children’s
Home Mission Trip. In between these great events they join together
each week to worship and serve God, study the Bible, and hang out
together. If you have questions regarding dates and times feel free to
check out the Student Ministries calendar for either the Clovernook location or the Westside location.

Summer service trips RULE no matter which grade you're in. High school
teens head to Mexico. The Mexico team builds homes for people who would
not otherwise have one. They work on the house along side the family
that will live in the house. And they come back home knowing they've
taken Christ's love to someone who desperately needed it. The Jr.
Highers go to children's homes and do things like painting, mulching,
cleaning. They are given the chance to show God's love to children who
were abandoned and kids who are in trouble.
Throughout
the rest of the year some of the teens involve themselves in children's
worship, free car washes, service projects for the elderly like 'Rake
'N' Run' and other outreach opportunities.
Events like CIY and Ichthus give LifeSpring
teens a chance to hang out and grow together. Jr. High CIY lasts for a
weekend Sr. High CIY for an entire week. This conference is filled with
blossoming friendships, worship, learning, growing, and JESUS! The
groups also come back with connections that will last a lifetime, and
longer in Christ. Ichthus is a weekend long concert (think Woodstock,
but without the sex, drugs, and rioting) offered to those in High
School. The weekend is filled with concerts, worship, workshops,
speakers, and new friends. The group comes back sun burnt and tired,
but filled with joy due to a new closeness with God and each other!
These trips are available at both the Clovernook and West Side Locations.
Of course, huge events aren't all the youth does. The eighteenth
chapter of Matthew tells us that "Where two or more are gathered in
[Jesus’] name, there [He is] in the midst of them." Throughout the year
the group meets every week for study and fellowship. These meetings
build the foundation of faith, friendship, and love. This is where the
real tough issues are discussed and prayed about. This is where
friendships begin. These weekly events are offered at both the Clovernook and West Side locations.
Whether
it be outreach, fellowship, worship, or learning our teenagers do it
all in the name of God. Constantly searching for His will and wanting
the rest of the world to know of His love. The youth group is totally
open and invites anyone to come check it out. They would love the
chance to get to know you.
